the "u-s" of "a(c)"

Did you know that 15,000 people died in France last August (supposedly) because of the terrible heat wave? It was mostly old folks with no air conditioning. Sad, but true.

I don't know if we'll get another "canicule" this year, but I won't be here to experience it. We'll be in the states for the whole month of August...and I may even stay a bit into September if the mood strikes me...

And as I recall, the entire country is air-conditioned such that the temperature is sub-zero anytime you're surrounded by walls, be it building or car.

Maybe I'll see some of you. :) I'll bring a jacket.

I have it on good word that a certain dorm room in Boston is not air conditioned :)
