we have arrived

So I know that the Tech football team has really stepped into the public light in the last ten years or so, playing in a few great bowl games and being conference champions several times along the way.

But today, I found out that we have truly "arrived".

Hemispheres magazine...gracing the seatback cushions of the best airline in the world (which is United, of course)...featured the following clue in the April 2005 crossword puzzle:

Vick? :)

United has become the airline of choice for me-- they introduced direct flights from Fort Lauderdale to Dulles on their discount branch Ted! Unfortunately they are not the cheapest flight to Paris :(

I'm a big fan of Channel 9 myself, and UA makes a lot more sense for me now that IAD is all of 5 miles from my apartment, instead of having to take a short hop RIC-IAD to get anywhere. :-)

Now if they could just get the seatback DirecTV like jetBlue...

Oooh, I know this one! Pick me!

hi amy! ca va? How is the little garbonzo?

1). Thank you for clarifying "Hummus". I thought it was some sort of exotic scottish goat-like animal. Maybe I will give hummus a try it now that I am not afraid of it.

2). Is "the eggs" and "the eyes" the same thing in french? Cause I would be in big trouble if I went to the market in France and asked for some eyes.

3). My boss, who just had her baby boy, liked dill pickles with cream cheese and bacon...you could give that a try.
