Due to increased demand over the spring and summer months, the Amy & Samy Bed and Breakfast is NO LONGER FREE.
The room rate has been raised to:
--one jar of some American brand of *creamy* peanut butter--
Thank you for understanding, and please enjoy your stay.

uh oh....this changes EVERYTHING.
is that one jar per night...or per stay?
The Bed and Breakfast is currently eating Skippy, but liked Jif better (which was the previous brand that the Bed and Breakfast was able to get smuggled in). The Bed and Breakfast is also very open to trying new brands.
In response to inquiries, I'd like to point out that the rate is per STAY. Also, multiple guests sharing a room need only bring one jar.
The employees at Kevin-Wells.com would like to protest the fact that this was raised after the Kevin Wells Official Tour booked the Amy and Samy Bed and Breakfast. We, however, being the ever gracious guests of the A&S B&B, are happy that the Bed and Breakfast is only charging one can of peanut butter per stay (speaking of, what constitutes a "stay?" If a guest were to leave the Bed and Breakfast for, say, a few days in Poland and then return for one night, would the B&B charge 2 cans of peanut butter or 1? :)
In response to further inquiries: Since there are three guests in the next month who will be using the Bed and Breakfast an additional day at the end of their trip who had reserved their entire trip before the unfortunate rate increase, the Bed and Breakfast will be glad to honor the second part of those compound reservations at no additional charge. Thank you.
This underground peanut operation sounds very sketchy! I'll be sure to bubble wrap my jars! What is the penalty for smuggling peanut butter into France? I'm not going to face a firing squad am I?
Crunch or Creamy?
creamy creamy creamy.
The truth is that Samy actually prefers crunchy...but he's not pregnant so he can just deal. ;)
As for customs: like all French government employees, the customs agents do almost NOTHING at all. They will probably not even be at their post. (I've seen them all of...ONCE...in the many many times I've been in and out of CDG.)
You'll get your passport checked by the passport folks, but the customs people are practically non-existant. Peanut Butter import is A-OK, though. No worries.
Also, there's no death penalty in France since the 1980's, so no fear of a firing squad.
Looks like the craving thing caught up with you? I just stopped by to say congratulations - cause I think I forgot when I read your post earlier this spring. You'll be a great mom! :)
