stay off the sidewalks

stay off the sidewalks
Two days ago, I braved the DMV...actually, in AZ, it's the MVD. I was mentally and physically prepared for the crowds and the wait (with plenty of water and a book). I arrived at 7:30 (a half-hour before they opened) and was out of there at 9:15. Oh Happy Day!

On the downside, because Samy let his VA driver's license expire, he actually has to take the road test... He's praying that AZ isn't one of those parallel-parking states.

Aren't Arizona licenses valid for some insane number like 42 years? ;)

Close enough Kev--valid 'til you turn 65. Imagine me walking around in 30 years with that picture... :)

And luckily I put my pre-pregnancy weight...I hadn't even thought how long that would have haunted me...

Oooooh, the perilous DMV. No matter what guise it goes under, it's tricky! I just recently got all my legal stuff from the VA DMV, after weeks of hemming and hawing.

By the way, it's great to see you guys settled in nicely in Arizona, and that you're posting regularly again!
