productive day

Yesterday started out to be the most productive day ever. I was wide awake at 5:30, and caught the sunrise in my PJ's from our terrace. I fixed breakfast for Samy and I and saw him off to work. I got ready for the day and then headed out to do a bunch of errands. Six errands, to be exact. I went to the post office, then to Babies R Us, then to the library, then to Target, then to Home Depot, then to the grocery store. All of this took just over three hours.

As I finished each task, I piled the purchases up in a big ikea tote that I keep in the trunk (so that I can just carry that one bag inside, rather than tons of tiny plastic bags). Brilliant, right?

So I got home and brought everything inside. I put away the groceries that needed to go in the fridge, and then decided that I should put my feet up for a while. So I had a relaxing lunch and watched a movie.

Back to my productive day, I started to unload the rest of my purchases only to find that the laundry stain remover that I had bought was open. And empty.

Everything else in the bag was soaking wet.

And stain-free.
